About

Brazos takes its name from the Brazos River — Spanish for “arms,” short for Los Brazos de Dios, the Arms of God. The river runs through Texas the same way a good watch should run through life — steady, useful, purposeful, and beautiful.

My name is Brad. I’ve had a career in the oil and gas industry, working from the field to the office. I’ve always been fascinated with learning how things work, and I’ve always enjoyed building with my hands. I also really love watches. I got tired of the idea that a solid watch had to cost a fortune or come out of a factory that put minimal effort into building it. So I started building them myself.

Every piece is assembled by hand in Texas. Proven movements are sourced from known Japanese or Swiss manufacturers, then inspected and regulated in-house. No mystery movements. No throwaway internals dressed up in a pretty case. Premium specs, built to be worn and enjoyed.

Anything can tell time — your phone actually does it better. A watch is about style and a story. Our story starts with the Brazos River and ends with a watch worth wearing.

Thank you for trusting us with a spot on your wrist.
